1

Ghosting (Slow GtG)

A dark or blurry shadow trailing behind the moving spacecraft indicates slow Gray-to-Gray pixel transition response time.

2

Inverse Ghosting (Overshoot)

A bright glowing halo or inverted outline in front of the UFO indicates overly aggressive monitor overdrive settings.

3

OLED Instant Response

OLED panels exhibit near-instant 0.03ms pixel response times, producing razor-sharp motion contours with zero phosphor smearing.

How to Adjust Monitor Overdrive Settings

  • If you see trailing blur (Ghosting): Increase your monitor's "Overdrive" or "Response Time" setting from Normal to Fast.
  • If you see bright halos (Inverse Ghosting): Your overdrive is set too high (e.g. Extreme). Lower it to Fast or Normal to remove voltage overshoot.
  • Check Refresh Rate: Make sure your OS display settings are set to your monitor's maximum native refresh rate (144Hz, 165Hz, 240Hz, or 360Hz).
